Yes!

We spotted our neighbour picking cherries from a tree on our road and wandered over to ask whose it was. Turns out it's actually under the council's stewardship and doesn't belong to any particular resident - so we can all eat from it whenever we like. We've been picking like crazy and giving to all our friends and family. Bizarre to find tiny boxes in the supermarket for £1.99 when it's just growing abundantly outside our door.

p.s. I'm lucky enough to live in a place called Cherry Hinton so it only feels right to eat a lot of them ;)

You've got the answer right, but the competition isn't here but over at <a href="http://www.foodloversbritain.com/FoodMatters/This-Month/Competitions--Prizes/Win-The-Farm-Shop-Cook-Book/" rel="nofollow">FoodLoversBritain.com</a>. The Tracing Paper has the answers, but not the prizes. Sorry.

Mmmm, English cherries! I have started seeing them everywhere & may have to dream up something this weekend. I do love my cherry clafoutis so seldom think further, but they are also spectacular with game birds and I think I may have to find me a recipe for a huffkin as it sounds heavenly! C'mon, let's bring back the huffkin!
