We spotted our neighbour picking cherries from a tree on our road and wandered over to ask whose it was. Turns out it's actually under the council's stewardship and doesn't belong to any particular resident - so we can all eat from it whenever we like. We've been picking like crazy and giving to all our friends and family. Bizarre to find tiny boxes in the supermarket for £1.99 when it's just growing abundantly outside our door. p.s. I'm lucky enough to live in a place called Cherry Hinton so it only feels right to eat a lot of them ;) Yes!
